Beautiful setting close to downtown. Loved the claw-footed soaking tub. Breakfast was delicious! Fascinating history of the property in a binder in the room made great reading. We stayed in the Carriage Suite which was private and spacious.

We haven't had breakfast yet, but if it's anything like last year's, it will be excellent. We enjoyed the clientele as well. The room, bathroom, grounds are all in great shape. This is a lovely place to stay.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

I knew within 10 minutes of arrival that I wanted to come back. I thoroughly enjoyed the decor, quiet places to enjoy outdoors and the hosts were wonderfully attentive. I could not have asked for a better getaway experience.

I've stayed here before and knew that my next trip to Brenham had to include Far View! Gorgeous rooms, spectacularly clean, and an incredible breakfast served by charming hosts! I love walking through the gardens and seeing all the history of the home! I can't recommend Far View enough! I love it here.

Wonderful retreat

Far View was even better in person than I expected! Super easy check in with great welcome note, gorgeous grounds, and a perfect room! It reminded me of the Hemingway House on Key West with all the lush greenery, gorgeous pool, and an occasional cat. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and the hosts were so welcoming. I'll definitely be staying here again.
