「エクスペディアから予約確認メールが来てから1カ月後に、オーナーから直接メールが入り、諸事情(ダブルブッキング)で泊まれなくなったのでキャンセルしたとの連絡が入った。旅行日が迫っていたので、エクスペディアにも電話して対応をお願いしたが、自分で対応するしかないとの返事。オーナーと3週間ほど何度もメールのやり取りをした結果、この宿泊施設(Cekers Townhouse)を紹介されて泊まりました。元の宿泊施設は街の中心部まで歩いて5分、海が目の前のロケーション。3ベッドルーム。しかし、紹介された宿泊施設は街の中心部まで車で5分、海までは歩いて15分、2ベッドルーム。条件は悪化していますが、一切の値引きに応じてくれませんでした。 既に他のホテルはいっぱいで予算内で泊まれる所はなく、飛行機のチケットも変更できず、エクスペディアからも「オーナーと交渉して代替施設を紹介してもらうしかない」と言われ、やむなく泊まる判断をしました。 旅行前に、これだけ嫌な思いをしたのは初めてです。この宿泊施設では、他にも同じような事象が発生しているようです。この宿泊施設を利用する方は十分ご注意下さい。」

「My son and I had a lovely time here for his birthday. I was initially disappointed because the property was listed as oceanfront but it definitely was not. It was however right down the street from Smith’s Reef where we had the best snorkeling experience of our lives. Communication with Michael was seamless and he was a pleasure. The condo was beautifully kept and had everything we needed. Will stay again whenever we make it back to Turks and Caicos! 」

「We have been going to Grace Bay for 15 years. This is, by far, the best trip we have ever had. We have stayed in many of the top resorts on Grace Bay as well as Chalk Sound. Poolhouse by the Beach surpassed them all. The house has a prime location - literally a short walk to the beach. We were able to spend our time on the beach then go back to get ready for dinner and walk back to plenty of close restaurants.
