"Being a native of Brevard I’ve never stayed here until now. Wow! I was proud of this little gem! Didn’t have much interaction with staff but when I did, they were friendly and helpful! Those little sugar packets in cellophane for coffee are just teasers, lol. Even though it sat next to a busy highway traffic sound was not an issue. My room was clean and cozy! My bed was comfy and my two small dogs were welcome. Fixtures in the bathroom reminded me of my grandparents homes and good memories. Simpler living. What you see is not what you get, there’s more! Meaning, behind the rooms is a little oasis of picnic tables, hammocks, fire pits and areas for relaxing to enjoy nature! Oh, they also provide waste bags for pets and disposal box. If you enjoy feeling like you’ve come home, this is for you! Thank you Sunset Motel! "

"Amazing home. This was our second stay and it was wonderful. Lots of room and our teenage grand children loved the freedom of the bunk room. Plenty of swimming and kayaking on the lake as well. This is an exceptional property and we easily agreed on a 5 star rating. Being fair though, a set of proper pots, pans and cookware is needed. Those available were mismatched "orphans". Likewise additional flatware (forks and spoons) would be great. Those available were adequate at best. Also, as has been mentioned in other reviews, this great property has one queen bed and one double. A king bed or two additional queens would be better than having guests sleep in the children' bunk room. Still a 5 star though."
