「My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in room 4 overlooking the marina. We also enjoyed eating in the restaurant that evening. The room was excellent, clean and comfortable. We sat out on the balcony and enjoyed the quiet peaceful evening. The meal was excellent and the view of the water made it nice. Our food came out hot and delicious. My only comment would be that the hushpuppies were either undercooked, too dry and not really edible. We asked the waitress about them, and she said...

「Nice fenced in yard for dogs, it just needed to be raked and mowed. James Divine was helpful and quick with responses to our questions. Thank you! Would stay here again if vacationing to the area again. 」

「Nothing else,everything was excellent」

「Beautiful historic home and property with an amazing view of the James River.」

「The property was very clean. There are plenty of towels and the kitchen is very well stocked. If you need an appliance, it's probably in the kitchen. The yard was well kept as well. The only down side was that it isn't as close to the water as we had expected. You can see the river, but to get to it, you basically need to drive. And the confederate flag flying on the beach is a little disconcerting. It deterred me from going down there.」

「We had a great week at the house!」

「Charming little cottage. The kitchen was beautiful aesthetically the house was very cute inside with upgrades and a mid century style.. The host was very communicative over text she also has like a “business partner” that lives feet away from the property who keeps an eye out for her.Overall I just wanted a long weekend away with my family to kinda get together and relax in front of the river. So it was nice although it was raining and overcast the whole time I was there, but it was still a nice...

「We loved our stay here! We stayed with our kids (11 & 4) and had a wonderful week. The house has everything you need (other than your clothes and toiletries!) for a comfortable stay. Compared to other vacation rentals we’ve used, A.C & Linda really go the extra mile to ensure their home is clean and well stocked. The air conditioned porch provides lovely extra living space and the river front is so enjoyable. The kids could swim and play safely and loved looking for cool shells. Water shoes are...

「What a hidden gem of a place! A gorgeous river cottage overlooking the St James River. Grateful to be immersed in a natural rural atmosphere and also so close to many things to do both at the cottage and near Williamsburg. We swam, walked the beach, kayaked and fished! A magical sun rising over the StJames River takes one’s breathe away! I understand why people come back here. It’s a very special place. Reminds me of being on a lake which reminds me of my childhood! The Ferry is close, free...

「We had a great stay. The house was exactly as described and the hosts were very gracious. The house was equipped with anything you could need. We would highly recommend. 」

「Our family had a fantastic time here as a stay on our "Revolutionary Road trip"!He was very responsive and knowledgeable about everything in the house and suggested a restaurant just down the road that ended up being our favorite eats on the entire trip (Williamsburg/DC)!」

「Spacious clean rooms.」

「We like to stay every chance we get.」

「My room has really bad smell in it. And really i went second time. This property really needs some maintenance. Hope they see this mess. If I am paying almost $450 / night. I feel like it need to be really good. But it like falling apart. The only reason I go and stay is water park. But rooms are just waste of money.」
