"Traditional Bavarian hotel. No frills. Basic amenities, decent beds. They have a restaurant downstairs but we didn't use it. I didn't realize that breakfast wasn't included (there was a sign in German in the room that I guess I should have translated), so the piece of bread I grabbed on my way to a meeting ended up costing me €7.50, which was annoying. Also, my shower flooded after 2 minutes of running the water. My colleague had a larger room on the 2nd floor and it was nice but also basic....

"More a stay for Germans, not set up well for non German speakers. Party atmosphere at night and quite crowded. "

"Die Zimmer waren sehr nüchtern eingerichtet, eher wie ein Heim, nicht wie ein Hotel. Toilette funktionierte nicht (kein Wasser!) und Zimmer war unzureichend geheizt. Frühstücksraum sehr schön, aber Frühstück liess zu wünschen übrig, nicht mal frisches Brot oder Brötchen, stattdessen Tiefkühlware."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Romantik Hotel. The room and bathroom were clean and cozy. The on-site restaurant was phenomenal and there were also other places very close by. From the hotel, we were able to hike around the area, including a trek up to the Andechs brewery, through a beautiful, wooden area and over to the lake. We loved the hotel and the town. "

Gerade das sehr regnerische Wetter hat uns dazu gezwungen, uns viel in der Wohnung aufzuhalten, aber die sehr liebevolle hochwertige Einrichtung, die überdurchschnittliche Ausstattung (wir haben gar nichts vermisst) und die ruhige Lage haben es uns sehr leicht gemacht!Sollte noch einmal eine Renovierung anstehen, wäre der einzige Verbesserungsvorschlag von uns, die Position der Dusche mit dem WC zu tauschen, damit für Personen...

"Alles in allem hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt. Man ist von der Unterkunft aus nur in ein paar Gehminuten am See. Ein Manko jedoch: die Unterkunft hat leider modrig gerochen und man hatte etwas Schwierigkeiten mit der Feuchtigkeit. Nasse Kleidung ist sehr langsam getrocknet. Wenn dieses Manko beseitigt ist, Ist die Unterkunft aber perfekt für einen Kurztrip am see"

No prestigious stuff, but everything exactly as it should be.
