Rooms are gorgeous and exceptionally clean. Our check in was great with one of the staff members showing us different rooms so we could choose where our family would stay. We booked three rooms. Two of the three were exceptional. One room had no air conditioning the first nigth which was frankly quite miserable. When I asked for a credit toward the first night stay for that room only, I was told by a different staff member they don't do anything to compenste, but would give me breakfast for two o our six family members. Based upon what I spent for three rooms, I would have thought this would have been handled better. Property is beautiful. Most of the staff was amazing and very helpful. Would reccommend...just check the air before you commit to the rrom, especially when there is a heat wave!

The staff of this hotel are amazing! Friendly, helpful with all Our travel needs. Rooms are comfortable with free nice items in the mini bar, fruit plate, water amd chocolates. The free bikes are a nice touch being only a 10 min bike ride to all the sites. I can’t say enough about the level of quality and service we received.

A 5 star hotel with great staff. But… for a 5 star the hotel lobby and breakfast area don’t match. A 10 minute walk to 2 subway stations helps. Great cafe across to the east on PrinzRegentStrasse. Wonderful quiet lounge on main floor and beautiful courtyard in and older part of town. It is not cheap either, so had some issues with the “feeling” versus the price paid….

Their facilities are top notch and clean, nbut it is their staff that go the extra mile for you. We had an issue with a lost piece of luggage on the train that they helped us resolve with a minimum of frustration. That was much appreciated.

The property is in a residential neighborhood and on the east side of the river, away from downtown and the crowds. That was a plus for us. I hadn't seen this side of Munich and with easy trasportation and free (nice bikes) from the hotel, we were able to explore the entire city on two wheels from our neighborhood. The absolute best speciality food store in the entire city of Munich is around the corner from the hotel. We will be back again when we're in town. Thank you Palace Hotel for showing us a fantastic time!
