「Beautiful magical place and great food as well.」

「Siamo state accolte dalla proprietaria, gentilissima e diponibile.

「Very convenient location for a one night stopover heading to Normandy after arriving at CDG airport that evening. We arrived at the hotel late but self check-in was straight forward. Clean and spacious room and bathroom, friendly check-out in the morning.」

「Terrible hotel. This was the worst place I stayed at in France. The room had a horrible sewage-like smell that seemed to be coming from the ventilation. The towels were old, worn out, and unpleasant to use. When I tried to take a shower, there was only cold water. I went to reception, and after checking, the receptionist told me everything was fine. The water became slightly warm, but still not warm enough for a comfortable shower. The next morning, there was only cold water again. The...

「Lovely host (owner?) welcomed us. Little english but good use of translation app. Small, quiet property with a nice view over the valley. Room was new and very well done and equipped with everything one would need. Continental breakfast was a nice touch. The rooms are laid out such that other guests walk past your patio and doors which is probably unavoidable but obviously has an impact on privacy. The grounds are only partially complete but it really isn't an issue. I suppose the oddest issue...

「The hotel is charming and in a lovely setting on the river. It feels like they have recently updated the rooms and bathrooms but the carpets are horrendous. When you walk into the hallways the stains are so bad that I didn't want to stay there and was immediately worried about the rooms. The rooms were nice but with the same terrible carpet. FIrst impressions matter and it is a bad first impression. The restaurant is wonderful, breakfast was great with views of the river. No elevator to...

「My husband and I enjoyed our stay. We chose the room with en suite private bath. The room was just as pictured: large, quiet and comfortable. Great bed. The building was rustic and fronted Claude Monet street. You felt you were staying in an inn where 19th century artists stayed. While the inn was snug in a row of quaint stone and wood storefronts, the other side of this narrow alley was open. The large window of our room overlooked not only a lane busy with pedestrians, but also a fabulous view...

「We had an amazing week at the River House. Our family included teens and adults. Thanks to information from our host we were able to easily get into Paris, visit the D-Day beaches, Chateau Gaillard and other nearby sites. Wouldn’t hesitate to book this delightful home again.」

「A gem of a place for a birthday overnight stay. Laurent and Bruno were exceptionally warm and welcoming and our son was delighted that his bedroom had the beautiful view of the Chateau Gaillard! Seizing the moment early Sunday morning to look at the respective views whilst reading, we knew we would like to return for longer. The best breakfast on Sunday morning made it hard to leave. Thank you!!」

「Great peaceful environment with plenty of privacy」
