「An outstanding place and excellent host. The prairie setting is absolutely sublime, and the house was clean and cozy. It had everything we needed, including fresh cookies! We wish we would have stayed longer. Kevin was very responsive to our messages and even gave us a tour of his incredible prairie and grounds. You won’t find another place like this: it’s a complete original. Looking for an excuse to come back again for a longer stay.」

「A wonderful property in the country. Well stocked house and great for several people. Beautiful surroundings and we even got some up close and personal time with the llamas. If you ever find yourself in Bluffs, this is the place to stay.」

「The hotel room had chipped and peeling paint. The carpet was stained. The shampoo and hand soap wasn’t filled up. The furniture was peeling on the edges and the television volume wasn’t clear.」

「Nice, clean and quiet hotel. The new renovations are underway so only first floor has ice machine btw. Other then that the rooms are clean, new and cozy. Staff is accommodating and friendly. Nice location to freeway for quick access. And also their breakfast was simple but filling. Would recommend.」

「Toxic A/C fumes! Avoid rm 114! I smelled it as soon as I entered but was too much to ask to change rooms. I might have gotten somewhat used to it until waking up at 3:00 am to the same severity of smell as when we first entered. Figured out every time the a/c kicked on we were getting a new shot of toxic air. Never went back to sleep! Our clothes were very damp in the morning due to improper function of a/c, besides the fumes!」

「room 306: toilet not bolted down. bathroom floor tiles loose. TP dispenser broken on one side, other side dispensed single sheets of the flimsiest paper I have seen yet. Bring your own. One ice machine was working in building the evening we arrived. It broke next day; none worked rest of the week. Bring your own ice too. "Sorry for the inconvenience." Hot, humid, musty halls on all floors. Deadbolt would not lock. On the brighter side, the room was clean. 4 bath towels in double room. Fairly...

「The hotel is newly renovated and very clean!! Beds are super comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. They were still working on the fitness room while we were there, so we weren’t able to use that. But overall it was an excellent stay.」

「I’ve stayed in many cabins and this one was by far the cleanest. No bugs or unswept corners. No discomfort in a grimy shower. Nothing! Just super clean and nice. It had everything I needed and a bonus delicious cake! It was incredibly charming and I will definitely visit again. 」
