「When we arrived at Gite Bibard, it felt like driving onto a film set for the perfect French countryside retreat. Lovely stone buildings, gravel driveway, an expanse of perfectly mowed grass and an abundance of large shady trees. The pool, which is gated off, was huge and had a very much needed wooden structure around 2 sides for shade. The gite is adorable inside. Very tastefully decorated. The kitchen has everything you need and the bathroom is plenty big enough for a family of 4 to share....

「Parfait!!」

The kids loved the pool- (possibly older teenagers (which we didnt have) may have found it big enough between them?). However, it was perfect for the ages of our children - [four of them aged between 5 and 13]. The location was great for a wine tasting tour of a local vinyard (Carsin Vinyard - really informative and friendly), day trips to St Emillion and back to Bordeaux twice. Great supermarket nearby...

「We had a lovely family stay here, it was so interesting staying on a real vinyard and there was plenty of space for us all. Nathalie was a very warm host」
