「Good stay, decent breakfast.」

「The whole house was very welcoming. Mary, the owner and hostess, was there when I arrived and gave me "the Grand Tour". I pretty much had the whole downstairs to myself. Breakfast was amazing, and Mary and I had a very nice conversation. I would definitely go back if the occasion arises.」

「This place was so clean!」

「Place is simple and cheap, could use some upkeep on building, door sticks and the water spigot for the sink drips and being held with duct tape. No bathroom just a portapotty to use. And watch out for the mice. It's a beautiful location on the west fork of the kickapoo River with access to the River.」

「Comfortable convenient well stocked.」

「So they were shampooing the carpets, so trying to keep it clean. We had a room of guys next to us that were very loud. Getting louder as the evening went on. We decided to leave because they were so loud and trying to open the adjoining door. As I picked up my purse to leave a cockroach went scrambling. We did the 3 hour ride home at 10:30 pm instead of the morning.」

「The property is very well maintained, house was very cozy and relaxing. The host was great to communicate with.」

「A very nice cabin in a beautiful setting. It’s in a fairly remote location, but was conveniently located near the Driftless Music Gardens, which we were visiting. Everything worked well, including the WiFi. We never even turned on the TV, so I can’t comment on the reception. Download your online Google map of the area ahead of time, because cell service is spotty out in the country.」

「We had a lovely stay by the river. There is plenty of room to spread out, a giant couch in the basement to watch movies, and a room upstairs to watch as well. Saw a bald eagle from the deck, and all the stars!」

「A great spot for a getaway weekend. 20 minutes to viroqua」

「excellent out of the way retreat close to things we wanted to do and great place for us and our cats, the hot tub was a great treat」

「Amazing week stay with my wife. First time she was here and very amazed by the location and site.」

「What a beautiful place to stay, newly remodeled and beautiful amenities. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area. Please note this is not a handicap accessible facility.」

「Very nice property clean secluded and well equipped.」
