"The grounds were beautiful. The pool was warm and clean..a car is needed as there is not many places that are safe to walk to. The description says there is a beach, there is no beach on property or walkable. We had an amazing dinner at Portale nearby recommended and arranged by owner. "We had a good stay in Nicotera! We really appreciated the sea view with the jacuzzi. Evi was very nice with us and very quick to respond to our questions during the stay. 🙂"

"We have been renting holiday homes for over 20 years, and this was one of the best. The house is airy and spacious with fully stocked kitchen, large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms; lovely outdoor patio and dining area. The guest house adjacent is great for additional use. "Maria and his husband, Joseph, welcomed us in the first day. They are very polite, helpful und reliable. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped. It is very near to the sandy beach. The sea and beach are very clean. We stayed 9 days in Tropea. Our kids have enjoyed to swim and play there. Thank you Maria! Thank you Joseph! Best Regards Family Cicek"

"The hot water in the shower did not work for most of our stay, the issue was flagged multiple times but only resolved on the last day. One of the days we had to boil water to shower as hot water was not working at all. A somewhat adequate compensation was initially offered but later he changed the terms, saying extra charges for linen and towels "were being waived" and that was part of our compensation, however, at the time of booking and writing this review there is no mention of said charges...

"Georgia was awesome as well as the ladies at the coffee/bar/ restaurant ! Perfect location with steep steps to the rocky beach. If you prefer sandy beach you need to walk towards the city center which is about 15 minutes away. We didn’t mind walking as we love the exercise and helps to walk off the drinks / food ! Lots of restaurants in the area in town. "

"The absolute best view from any hotel in Tropea. Our stay was absolute perfection. From the view, service, hospitality, delicious drinks and bites - we can’t recommend staying here more. Perfect location, close to the beach and all restaurants / shops in town. If the corner sea view room is available, book it! "

"We ended our Europe trip with a week at Hotel Borgo di Santa Barbara and it was the perfect choice. The property is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, a great place to unwind. You can relax by the pool or head to Tropea beach, which is just a short drive away. The breakfast each morning was delicious with a variety of options, many of them homemade. The family who owns and runs the hotel is incredibly welcoming and their hospitality really stands out. Everything was also very clean and well taken care of. We had such a wonderful stay and would love to return someday."

"Amazing room with a balcony in front entrance and another balcony in back room both with amazing views of the ocean. Amazing breakfast overlooking the ocean! Perfect location! Easy walking to centre of town where all the restaurants are. Very clean! "
