Stunning hilltop location that offered privacy, 360–degree views, and easy access to Matera and a couple of small charming towns, as well as day trips to the higher-profile tourist towns like Polignano, Alberobello, etc…. "Hello, we are a family of 4 from South America. We stayed at the Piccolina Vacation Home and it was excellent. Very nice place with nice kitchen and bathroom. Nearby there is a little Piazza to get a coffee, pizza and to do laundry. Also, very friendly neighbors and a supermarket nearby. There is a bus stop just a couple minutes away that takes you straight to downtown to see the Sassi. Great place!"

"L'appartamento era ben locato, in quanto consentiva di esplorare la città vecchia ma allo stesso tempo non era lontano dalla città nuova dove avevamo parcheggiato l'auto. L'annuncio era leggermente fuorviante, in quanto il terrazzino che si vede nelle foto si trova in un'altra proprietà, al piano superiore,ove un'altra coppia ero ospitata. "We had a wonderful stay at Cave Aquatica Hotel in Matera! While there’s no on-site parking (common in Matera), the hotel directed us to a nearby lot and arranged transport—Antonio, our driver, was fantastic. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, answering all our questions and even making dinner reservations for us. The location is very central, perfect for exploring the Sassi. We were pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade—absolutely stunning and well equipped. Highly recommend this hotel!"
