"The standout feature of this property is undoubtedly its location. To be honest, I likely wouldn’t have chosen this hotel if it weren’t for its beachfront setting. The rooms are in serious need of renovation. While the size was adequate and the balcony was a nice touch, the décor and fixtures felt outdated, and there was a noticeable mildew smell. "Ishigaki Island is a beautiful island! however renting a car is a must since public transportation is not the best and taxis are expensive"

"My husband and I came here to conclude our trip around Japan. Our goal was to relax and enjoy! This was an excellent hotel with helpful staff, wonderful amenities, and comfortable rooms. We never needed to leave! I will warn, it is far from the center of Okinawa so be warned you’ll be far from activities."

"The property was fabulous although I have to say the restaurants at the hotel were very overpriced so we found we had to leave most of the time to eat. For $45 per person breakfast charge is a good example of excessive charges. As well, you had to pay for beach chairs if you're at the beach, which should probably be supplied to hotel guests. Really beautiful hotel though and the indoor pools were great. "
