「I have stayed various hotels in Newcastle, but the Malmaison was one of the best hotel in the city. I recommend to all who is visiting Newcastle.」

「Staff very helpful, gym was great and it was very clean」

「Room was nice. Restaurant service and cleanliness let our stay down. The first night, the chairs were dirty with food crumbs and our food came before our drinks. Second night my husband did not receive his drink. On our last day, we had breakfast and the staff were not clearing tables, guests were having to ask for food to be replenished. Stayed a couple of years ago and had a lovely stay, which is why we decided to return. Unfortunately it has gone really down hill. Will not be back」

「The hotel was clean and the room was large with storage and tea/coffee. We didn’t use the facilities or have breakfast but everything was very good. We would stay again」

「Nice room although not very private in terms of balcony area -in full display of pub garden!! Good location for boat to Farne Islands and travelling to Lindisfarne etc. Very small car park.」
