"I booked a room just for 1 night over 2 months in advance. The booking was confirmed by expedia. I booked the room for May 20, 2026. That morning I flew from Antalya, Turkey to Frankfurt, Germany. I had a train ticket from Frankfurt to Wroclaw, Poland for the following day. I carry a laptop with me. I do not have a smart phone. Without knowing anything I arrived at the hotel and was told I do not have a room and all the rooms in and around Leipzig are booked. When I arrived in Poland I found out...

"Room was fine,for the 2 nights I stayed only bottle of water,no tea or coffee in room,no local amenities available to use. Definitely have to be a driver to stay at Aparthotel,otherwise taxi to airport train station, or taxi to Leipzig centre very expensive. Overall not impressed at all,room ok,staff invisible,only fit for a night's sleep."

"Be aware that the hotel reception close down at 19:00 and if you haven’t checked-in by then you have to find another place to stay. I travel a lot but rarely see this rigid routine. Normally there is an option to collect your key in a coded box or something after the reception is closed. But okay, fair enough, it’s my mistake to not follow these rules. But no card payment in 2025?! That’s a big drawback which easily can be fixed. You leave it to your guests to spend 30 minutes to find an ATM...

"We only spent one night here as we’re visiting Leipzig for a football match, at the Red Bull arena, so didn’t use the kitchen facilities. Appartment ROSI is a short walk from the SBahn 3 train service, a short 25 minute ride into Central Leipzig As well as a bus stop, and a tram stop not far away. The owner was very helpful, answering questions before the visit promptly, and even though we speak very little German, and he spoke only a little English, so Google translate came in handy when he...
