「Cute room. Smelled a little funny, but I think it was freshly painted. I would stay again.」

「The treadmill did not property work. I would be walking for 12 minutes and it would just stop. I could only get it to start again for less than a minute. I tried several times and then just gave up. Diane at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Thank you for accommodating my physical need for no stairs, therefore a first floor room. Ann」

「Check-in - rude, cranky, didn't offer Expedia amenities, overall poor attitude. I choose to believe her behavior was not related to guest heritage or a mixed marriage - A happy combination of Jamaican and Northern European descended. Surely the check-in clerk's behavior is poor for all guests and consequently deserving of summary dismissal.」

Then there was no soap, no towels, no comforter on the bed, The entry stairs were broken, the A/C was inoperable, the unit was not leveled properly, one of the utility access panels was left undone laying in the filthy floor which also had tiles peeling up. 「What an amazing piece of property, perfect base camp for our excellent weekend in Meeker. Would definitely stay there again.」

「Everything was great! The host was right next door if needed. It was definitely an older house but it had a great charm. They had plenty of amenities for use to borrow for cooking to even having a doggy door to the gated backyard. The host was really kind and responded fairly quickly to all of my questions. Was a great place to gather friends and take a well needed vacation. 」

The work isn't done yet. There were cables/wires coming out of the walls, lights that weren't working, dirty floors, and the dishes in the kitchen all had a thick cover of dust. The room was supposed to have a/c, but it didn't, and that area gets very hot for much of the year. I called the mgr to ask...
