「It was ok」

「Helpful staff and friendly ! An extra charge was added to my credit card I was unaware of to have 3 people in a room. My rooms smoke alarm went off at 2 AM The night staff person was very apologetic and took the alarm!」

「Pool could be warmer」

「We enjoyed the area — beautiful lake, gorgeous sunsets. The townhome was clean, open, spacious, and stocked with plenty of supplies and towels. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was very convenient. On the downside, there is no pool and no restaurant on-site. The beach area is very small, not a real sand beach, and not suitable for kids to swim. The playground is also very small. Activities are limited if you’re not golfing or boating.」

「The pool was closed, so that was a bummer. The desk person was kind and helpful. The room had a fitted sheet that didn’t fit the bed, the 3 pillows (it was a king) were very flat and old. The bathroom floor was sticky due to cleaning products not fully cleaned up. Nice TV, desk and free WiFi. Breakfast was okay, I think I was one of two guests so I don’t blame them for not having a lot. I was supposed to get the studio with a king bed/full kitchen and hot tub in the room. 「Very nicely decorated space with a cabin feel. Very clean & kitchen stocked with all we needed for cooking. With it being winter the gas fireplace was warm, comfy, & romantic for our get away.」

「Didn’t use amenities!! The only strange thing was there wasn’t a House Rules book stating how to navigate the house! There wasn’t any firewood for the wood burning fireplace which would have been nice for Christmas Eve, if we needed to get our own, it would’ve been good to know that?! There were not any exit rules as to bedding, garbage, etc!!!!!!! Otherwise no complaints!」

「This place is rustic, but has potential. No communication from host as to how to get in. I tried emailing the host via VRBO, calling, and texting. After texting I got the code to get in and the wifi. You have to have your own water to drink and cook with. It is well water without a filter for getting useable water. The well water has a potent smell and taste of iron. There aren't any curtains in the back of the house and the roll up curtains in one of the bedrooms aren't great. The furniture is...

「Great setup for our brothers/dad retreat. Location was perfect for ice fishing access and the host was very communicative and welcoming. Great check-ins with details that impacted our stay.」

「Everything was amazing! Hot tub and sauna were the highlights. Post communicated excellently and kept the Christmas decorations up for us. Pool table air hockey darts just so many things to do it was so wonderful for me and my adult children to enjoy everything! The free coffee bar was a special treat for us all! We loved it and we will stay here again next year! 」

「Yes, it was very family friendly and pet friendly. Would've have liked more blankets, a shovel and ice melt. But everything else was great. Did find some food (grapes) under the table, but otherwise clean and ready to use. 」
