「Overall a good home in good location. Few minor things could be added. Kitchen lacked a few things…had to run out to purchase a wire whisk, no food processor or hand mixer, throw rug immediately in front door was not clean…grass clippings. The grill worked but is very rusty. Better seating for 7 adults in living room and lower level would be fantastic too. But the price is good and we had a fine visit.」

「Lovely house with everything we could possibly need. Enjoyed sitting on the deck sipping wine. Kitchen is well equipped. Convenient location for exploring the town of Winterset and the bridges of Madison county. Host communication was excellent.」

「Finally, a place listed as a secluded cabin that ACTUALLY IS a secluded cabin! It was everything we hoped for. Modern, comfortable, and relaxing. Sitting on the screened in porch, drinking coffee, and listening to the early morning rain was amazing. The main bathroom has a separate makeup mirror and great lighting. There's a county park nearby with hiking trails. And an old trestle bridge down the road; when the cars roll over the boards, it's like distant thunder. The host was easy to reach,...

「Beautiful, spacious & clean!We stayed in June, the weather was hot, but the A/C units worked great. The sunsets were gorgeous, and we had a fun lightning storm to watch during our stay. We had a fire, played games & took full advantage of the porch swing.We drove a few minutes into winterset for shopping & eating. Pizza Hut delivered, too.」

「We had a gathering for family and friends prior to wedding day. This is the second time we have rented and when we walked in for the second time it felt like walking into our home again. The layout is open, large rooms and nicely decorated. Wish it was our house. 」
