"Attended my first Drake Relays. Drove 6.5 hrs up as media knowing it could all be tornadoed out. I actually liked the location. This hotel is in an industrial part of West Des Moines behind some other hotels. It's right off a couple interstates and within walking distance to McDonalds, Taco John's, and others. No time to drive due to said tornadoes! First impression was okay, both of facility and room. Quite small room, no table to work on computer so I parked it underneath the TV. Always felt...
