"This was a very memorable place that I visited. It is in the rural area of japan, you can really feel the realness of the area. It's in gifu however it's definitely not a tourist trap area. The owners of the establishment reminded me of my grandmother. You are not getting a hotle with this stay more of a B&B, it definitely felt like I a was sleeping over a japanese grandma's house. "I recently stayed at Nikko Style. Check-in was smooth, as an English-speaking staff member was available. The room was spacious, the TV was easy to connect to my laptop, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a slight moldy smell, but I relaxed in the tub, which was quite deep and low (Western-style), for longer than planned because it was so nice. I slept very well. It was quiet and peaceful. The entire hotel is non-smoking, which is perfect. The breakfast buffet is somewhat unique. You choose a main entrée, and the other items are supplementary. I found the food very well presented and delicious. I wanted a luxurious experience at a reasonable price, and I felt I achieved it here!"
