「Beautiful old property in extensive grounds Food was good Service excellent particularly for evening meal in the restaurant We booked a suite which was fabulous, we were upgraded to the bridal suite which was quite spectacular Thank you for a fabulous stay」

「This hotel is nice enough but needs investment and to examine its pricing structure. It looks and feels dated. Everything was 'okay'. Clean with good staff, but the food and rooms were average at best and extremely overpriced. The most annoying thing for me was that a pint of lemonade and lime was more expensive than any of the pints of beer. That is simply wrong. I had an Executive Room. This just means that your room is in the original house rather than the annex. Again, it was 'okay', but...

「Currently the hotel is under refurbishment. A lot of amenities wasnt available. Including a hot breakfast on Sunday morning, which was on Saturday. Not a lot of food available on either days. Didn't have the same feel as other macdonald hotels. Rooms were far from reception, which was tricky when it was raining. Rooms were OK. 」

「The breakfast was very good nice selection and it was warm and fresh. Our room was basic but had everything we needed and it was clean. The staff were great. I would definitely recommend this hotel.」

「Comfortable room and stay. Leisure facilitates were good. Great sized pool. Main house was beautiful and staff helpful. There appeared to be a lack of signage where the reception was etc. Breakfast was amazing and good value.」
