This hotel is unlike anything I have seen in Japan. It has California/Palm Springs vibes thanks to the modern open air architecture, white washed clean buildings, amazing indoor/outdoor flow, and fantastic location right on the water. We stayed in one of the private cottages which face the water and we had an unobstructed view of the bridge. Delicious breakfasts and dinner. Kind, friendly staff. Amazing spa bath and spacious living quarters just a short walk to Dogo Onsen. It was a lovely and relaxing experience. I would most definitely stay here again.

If you love the idea of staying in a traditional Japanese house, this place is for you. Very clean and quiet. Nice to have access to a kitchen. The host was very warm and friendly. Close to the port, market and delicious restaurants. We were very happy with our stay.

This place was perfect for our multi-family group coming through for the Shimanami Kaido. The place was immaculately clean and had everything we needed even slippers. It was a beautiful authentic Japanese space with all the modern amenities. There’s not a lot around but Family Mart is about a 5 min bike ride away. We ordered breakfast through this stay with Wakka which was about a less than min bike ride away. I would definitely recommend this place - a great value stay.
