"I always stay here when flying into/out of GYE airport. Always a wonderful experience. The hotel heard the story of a group of international tourists trying to get home to their own country and opened their doors to the travelers who had been in quarantine for a few months in southern Ecuador. The group was too far away from international airports early in the epidemic to reach their various country's relief flights as the roads were closed. Finally the multinational group was able to hire a private plane, with Ecuador's blessing, to take the group to Florida, USA.
