「Friendly front desk staff. Hotel is dated but for a one night stay it did the job. Convenient location in respect to the bridge. 」

Even though there were other people staying on the property I felt secluded and as if I had the place to myself. I highly recommend Amnicon and look forward to coming back again in the future.」

「Clean modern cabin with all the little things you need. The kitchen area has enough appliances to make meals, and there is a vacuum and fan in the living area. The peace and quiet was amazing and took a little time for this city girl to get used to. I ran into deer just hanging out on the trail to my cabin. I will recommend to anyone who wants to go about 50% rustic, with a cabin with electricity, but can live without full plumbing.」

「It was exactly as described. We wanted a camping experience but with the comfort of a bed. It is a walk to the beach/lake like it states. The Porcupine trail to the beach is shorter but not maintained. (Wear long pants & good shoes.) We did see 1 bear during our stay on the Lake Trail, so be aware! We stayed at Solitude which is down a slope so just make sure you have no physical limitations with incline/declines. Showers are in the main lodge. Always had hot water and never a wait for the...
