「Very nice apartment and well taken care of. Pride in ownership. Amazing sunset view from our balcony. Plenty of room for 2 people. The balcony is amazing. Not many restaurant choices but we did manage. Ellie was helpful with a couple suggestions. Mero Beach js very nice black sand and the water is very clear and fairly warm. Highly recommend. 」

「Came here to celebrate a milestone birthday. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. Be advised the main beach is quite small and very rocky, however you can take a kayak over to a much longer expanse of beach if long walks on the beach are your things. Also, they do provide watershoes -facilitating the process of walking over the rocks. 「Pictures very misleading, the lake was too abandoned to go near, there is no water park, the restaurant only served breakfast (not lunch and dinner like advertised), no hot springs. I ended up staying in my room all three days. The staff were really nice but I can tell they knew I felt scammed. I’ve contacted Expedia for some type of compensation twice and they said they’d reach back but no answer. Very disappointed. A waste of alot of money.」

「The new owners were really friendly and full of local knowledge. So was Pascal the taxi driver they arranged to pick us up. But we were also given lots of privacy. The view is amazing from the studio cottage. It was well appointed and comfortable, had good wifi. It could use a memory foam for the bed though. The grounds were clean and the whole Calibishie area is safe. Dominicans are soooo friendly! 」
