「We had a great time! There is so much to do - kayaking, swimming in the pool, fishing. Great places to eat in Douglas, too! The house is obviously tiny, so it's kind of like camping with a TV, toilet and shower which was fun. There is no real space to just hang out inside for more than two people but as long as the weather is nice, you will not want to be inside anyway! Sam was so nice and so were his boys! Our two boys had a great time with his sons and the guests in the adjacent bungalow...

「Looked like it was just remodeled. New floors no rugs nice. Breakfast had danish, fruit, cereal, yogurt, jug of good orange juice and milk. Coffee was wonderful not the cheap stuff. lol had a Walmart right behind and a huddle house on side. Lots of fast food and restaurants close. Dog friendly extra $20. A night. 」

「We were in Fitzgerald for a family funeral. Our family needed and deserved a getaway. But also we needed a place to call home for a few days. We all enjoyed a little nature before and after the funeral and our days there became a bit of healing time though we didnt expect or plan on it. Our host's communication was excemebt. Highly recommended!!」

「We spent this past weekend here with 4 generations of my family and every one of us enjoyed it immensely. Kendra is so kind and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin was well stocked and the owners put a lot of thought into making sure guests could enjoy their stay. We will definitely be returning.」
