On a cobbled street in the sleepy town of Garachico, Hotel San Roque offers a truly unique experience for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of resorts, and stay in boutique comfort. Amazing views from our room as well from the gardens. Across the road from a spectacular park and 15 minute walk to the harbour area with all its shops and cafes. We had a meal there and enjoyed some of the local wines at reasonable cost.Our only complaint is the obscene cost (18€) of the breakfast. Lots of local cafes within easy walking distance for less than 1/3 the cost. Other than that, I give top marks for the hotel and its professional helpful multilingual staff. Pros: Amazing adult area/pool, dining options, friendly staff, amenities Cons: Isolated, located on a very steep hill which leads you to rely on calling the concierge to arrange transportation (difficult to get anyone to answer the phone), recommend a rental car

Very elegant, friendly, and well mannered. I will definitely have to go back for a second time and only to this hotel because I felt so comfort. Not only that, but it was close to the beach and strip mall where I felt safe. Great food at the hotel and surrounding beach front resturants.

Everything amazing

This is a Lovely hotel with really friendly & helpful staff. You can pay a deposit & have beach towels for the duration of your stay, there are ample comfortable sun loungers, a lovely pool & jacuzzi. Once you leave the hotel, you are straight onto the beach, perfect for a quick swim in the sea or beautiful stroll. Breakfast was very good & available until 10.30 each morning. I would highly recommend this hotel & look forward to going back.

One of the finest resorts I have stayed in. Amazing restaurants, beautiful grounds, pristine rooms and helpful, friendly staff. Close to a great beach and only 10 mins walk from the main town area with a lot of bars, restaurants and other activities. Would definitely return for a second visit when I get the chance!

We had an ocean view room with a balcony. The view was spectacular and the balcony had enough privacy and room for both of us to sit and enjoy the air. The beds, while split, were extremely comfortable. The breakfast and dinner service is worth the money! The spread is absolutely fantastic and the chefs there to provide fresh food are spectacular. Perfect weather for cycling. If you want a swimming vacation go to the usvi. They have a great outdoor and indoor pool. Outdoor is 25 degrees C and indoor 35 C. Wonderful steam room and sauna. Great time.
