「Camp Figtree was absolutely wonderful - stunning location, wonderful lodgings, fabulous food, and the loveliest people...It's a very special place and we felt a real pang when it was time to leave. Everything was managed smoothly throughout with fab communication from Karin who arranged transfers and safari days for us (and was very patient with assorted queries!) before we even arrived. All the team we met were fantastically welcoming...to name a few, Wicky (excellent driving and conversation),...

「The staff was super friendly and helpful. The food simply amazing. Excellent value for money overall.」

「ROOM GREAT BUT VERY SMALL & COMPACT AS WAS THE BATHROOM. GREAT LOCATION AND VERY PRETTY. ATE IN THE BAR AND FOOD WAS NOT THAT HOT AS PREPARED ELSE WHERE. TASTE AND FLAVOUR WERE GOOD THOUGH. DIDN'T TELL US KITCHEN WAS CLOSING SO WHEN WE ORDERED A DESERT COULD NOT GET ONE. MOTS PLACES COME AND ASK DURING THE MEAL IF THIS IS THE CASE. A GREAT PLACE TO STAY STILL ON A LONG TRIP.」

I expected the ding beetle suites to be a room in a larger building. Instead was a self contained quonset hut style accomodation. Had a shower ,toilet, fridge inside, so was quite serviceable. However for a long stay such as ours the chalet was much more comfortable. Thanks to Henry for recognition and upgrading us without prompting. Breakfast was fantastics. ...

「Staff and guides were all excellent and thoroughly enjoyed the drives. Lodge and food also excellent and we met some fantastic people, however we very very disappointed with our accommodation. We had expected an individual lodge in a private and peaceful setting however we were situated in a lodge attached to another lodge just above the main lodge and kitchen block. So we could constantly hear noise of the kitchen preparations, plates and bins being emptied and staff singing and talking rather...

「Did not go to the Spa and di not have a pet. The apartment was clean and serviced very day. Staff were friendly. 」

「A very peaceful stay in a lovely location 」

「Great food, great game drives with knowledgeable drivers. The drivers are wildlife experts and were happy to answer any questions (and we had a lot!). I really hoped to see the giraffes up close and our driver delivered!」
