「Only stayed there to sleep. Clean room, staff was friendly.」

「It was the cutest modern motel. My husband and I last-minute planned a getaway to Detroit Lakes for our anniversary. I found Beachfront Haven on the “Visit Detroit Lakes” website in places to stay. It was clean, cute, cozy, affordable, and we felt safe in the area. It is across the street from the lake, surrounded by amazing restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again!」

「The staff was accommodating and friendly. The atmosphere is rustic, relaxing, and looks and feels fresh. Breakfast was amazing and we enjoyed taking the paddle boards out onto the lake.」

「Great value」

「Wasn't much to like we booked 2 nights only stayed for 1 as we decided to drive the 3 hours home then try and slerp in the room again. Room was musty smelling and hadn't been dusted in a very long time. Beds were uncomfortable, dirt or something in the pool and and hot tub that didn't work. The continental breakfast was the highlight and that was average at best. Had other family coming to the area and told them we wouldn't recommend staying there」

「The reviews lead me to believe it was nicer than its price point. Its not gross or unsafe but it defintely needs some up keep and updates. Get what you pay for I guess. Staff was nice.」
