「This used to be our go to hotel - it was affordable and centrally located and clean. Our visit this time was not the same - the bathroom had a lingering odor to it, the chain on the door only attached to one side, the tub wouldn’t drain properly and we discovered a broken wooden plank on the 2nd floor landing covered by a chair. (I have to assume it broke overnight and management didn’t cover it with a chair - a guest must have done that.)」

「The hotel is not particularly impressive overall. The breakfast is quite average, and the dining room is uncomfortable with no A/C. The tables are also not very convenient. Although the property is generally clean in the hallways, there is a noticeable smell of old or dirty carpet in some areas. In room 131, the hair dryer was broken and did not work. 「Parker Beach Lodge is in a great location and the rooms are comfortable, updated and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The kind man at the front desk even offered us to switch to a room with 2 queens and walked us around to different rooms and let us pick our favorite. The bathroom even has a blue light so that you can see how clean it is. The rooms are beautiful and the beds are very comfortable.
