The lift was out of order while I was there, there was also a strong smell of drains or babies nappies along the corridor. The room itself was adequate and the bed was clean and comfortable.
Nice single room, hotels seem to put the single beds on the top floors...car park now charges and the toilet didnt want to flush.bed was creeky. Tv was very small. Otherwise good stay.

Okay for short stay
Located near railway station, drinks and biscuits in room, small TV, and reception staff friendly.
Parking available at £8 per day.
Noisy at night with other guests in corridors, tired communal carpets, dust on skirting boards, dirty mirror in main room, grubby sink and shower, fan in bottom of wardrobe covered with dust discovered after hanging clothes up then noticing thick clumps of dust on them.
Some standard UK plug sockets, ones nearest bed were for 3 pin round plugs.
Found they had been taken over and are now sutton court hotel. Service was limited, but located cenrally and everything nearby.

Good value for the price
The hotel is not called Dancenter Midlands airport, it's Aston Court Hotel. There's a small poster on the door that mentions the babe but it's been walking around the area for 20+ minutes before realising where the hotel was. There was no mention of this when booking, I'd known it would have saved a lot of time and confusion, it should be made clear on the booking websites. Other than that, the room was decent, good value for money and friendly staff
Accomodating they offered us a free upgrade due to a problem with our original room. Good breakfast, friendly staff, great location next to railway station
No hotel at address, phone number just has options then states a website and hangs up.

Manager too busy on his phone to greet guests on arrival - I stood there like a plum for a minute or two waiting for him to finish tapping away.
6 nights stay and no housekeeping room turndowns for the entire duration.
Mould is starting to build up in the shower.
I have stayed here in the past - this will be my last time.
Car park no longer free - £8 per day.
Properly was dirty, rooms smelt of cigarette smoke, beds were very uncomfortable. The shower stopped while using it and when come back on scalded you and ver noisy from other rooms. The staff were no help at all and quite rood giving me wrong information about car ark resulting in a £100 fine.
I would honestly not recommend this hotel to a single person. I am in the process of making a formal complaint about the customer service I have received throughout my stay and I would urge everyone and anyone to avoid this place.
My bed had a broken frame that actually cut me due to nails sticking out of it. The curtains did not close. They did not provide evening meal or facilities to get something for evening meal and after telling me via a website that they offered free parking I was in forced to pay £40.
Absolute shambles! Arrived and tried to check in, only to be told that our booking had been cancelled and we’d been told (obviously we hadn’t been, or we wouldn’t have tried to check in!!). Told it was cancelled by hotels.com, and the hotel was now fully booked, with no rooms available. Had to find another hotel, otherwise we were stranded in Derby. Had no choice but to pay significantly more for the night at another hotel.
Spoke to hotels.com who confirmed they didn’t cancel the booking, and it was still live on their system. It was still showing as booked on my account as well. Clearly the hotel is cancelling bookings for more lucrative ones.
We weren’t the only ones with complaints, as the guests checking in before us came back down to complain whilst we were trying to sort something out, as there was someone getting changed in their room! They’d also been told that their booking was cancelled when trying to check in.
Avoid at all costs.

I booked initially for one night, which I extended to two nights after I arrived.
In the 48 hours I was there someone from the hotel staff came into the room on day one when I was dozing late afternoon, I had the manager knocking at 12pm the next day (day two) asking why I was still there (I'd extended remember), then house keeping tried to get in early afternoon on day two, and someone again tried to get in around 5pm on day two.
The bathroom is so small I could not sit on the toilet at the 'normal' angle as my knees were jammed against the shower cubicle. (I'm 5'9" by the way). So, your backside and front end are just about nestled within the toilet seat, that you straddle at a 45 degree angle.
When you want to dry yourself after a shower you'll need to do this in the bedroom otherwise you'll have a multitude of bruises from shower cubicle, door-frame and wall within, well, bent arms reach.
Since OYO Rooms have taken over it's sadly dropped in quality of service.
