Depot Park Museum

For a hotel in Berkeley CA you have an acceptable one with many good restaurants near by but the hotel is old and you should not expect more that a 3 star rating.

Gorgeous historic hotel, top notch amenities. Stuff is very helpful and friendly. Restaurant is very good. One thing to know - not all rooms are equally well located and appointed. Our room central AC was broken, and portable AC unit was very noisy. We asked to move to a different room, which was much better but had windows with frosted glass for privacy. Do inquire ahead of time to make sure you are booking a good room.

The room and facilities were adequate. The one think I didn't like was that when booking the room, the photo of the room showed a water view. I was given a room with a view of the parking lot.
