Stovepipe Wells Village Hotel - Inside The Park

Stovepipe Wells Village Hotel - Inside The Park

10/10 Excellent
"Don’t be fooled because the buildings look old; the room we were in was very nicely updated, good mattress, lots of space, table with two quite comfortable chairs. Biggest surprise - the food at the restaurant was great. I ha d salmon; it was sockeye, not farmed Atlantic salmon, cooked and spiced very well and the vegetables were really good, not over cooked like most. We were really happy with our stay"

Historic Dow Hotel

Historic Dow Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"I loved the Historic Dow Hotel!! The lobby area has photos & memorabilia giving a sense of a museum dating back to the old country western films of the early/mid 1900's. The pool is a great amenity and the staff were friendly! Ideally, you want to get a room in the courtyard near the pool. My only issue is that I pre-paid for the room, but was double charged again at check-out. They collected my credit card info. for "incidental charges" but used my card for a 2nd room rate charge. I was honestly disappointed when they refused to refund my card after I produced proof-of-payment from my credit card statement & had to go through the process of getting a refund thru alternative means. Thank you."

Desert Retreat-Charming 2-bedroom house with a View

Desert Retreat-Charming 2-bedroom house with a View

10/10 Excellent
"The house was beautiful and just like it was advertised, only better. We needed some washcloths that were forgotten and the owner himself delivered them very quickly and we loved him. Marcus was easy going and friendly and genuine. What I enjoyed most was seeing the stars in a way I had never seen them before."

Panamint Springs Resort

Panamint Springs Resort

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in a cabin room. Great view of the Panamint mountains and night sky. The Staff was very nice and helpful. We had lunch at the restaurant and it was also very good. The bartender was very helpful with tips on viewing the night sky! No WiFi or cell service on the camping / cabin rooms side of the road which we were told about well in advance of our stay. Didn’t need connections the solitude & beauty was worth it! Stayed one nite."
