"This is an upscale, beautiful hotel. We stayed here for 1 night pre 12 night cruise and it was the best experience. Incredible service/amenities/linens and we had a large room facing the cruise terminal, ...so we could actually see our cruise ship in port the night before. We added on the executive lounge package and I'm glad we did. The snacks and drinks in the lounge were all needed for dinner. (So much more than just snacks) The buffet breakfast on the top floor had an incredible selection, was delicious and had a stunning view. After a busy 19 days touring around Japan, this was the perfect way to slow down before our cruise. The taxi to and from the International cruise terminal was just $1000 Yen. (We also booked our post cruise airport shuttle through the hotel to Narita airport-1/3 the price that the cruise ship was asking for the same service!-They also gladly stored our luggage for the day while we took a river boat trip-our flight heading home wasn't until the evening). "Perfect off the plane and a room to get right with the world "

"We paid a premium price for a premium hotel room for three days. Unfortunately, the air conditioning did not work properly in any of the three rooms we were moved to. We set the AC at 70 degrees. In the first room, I woke up in the middle of the night hot and the room was 78 degrees. I had to open the sliding glass door to cool the room down. When they concluded that they could not fix the AC, they had us move to a new room. The next room had the same issue. Another miserable night. They then had us move again. In an effort to "compensate us" for the inconvenience, they moved us into a slightly larger room and provided a van service to the cruise terminal. Unfortunately, the third room suffered the same issue, to a slightly lesser degree. My wife and I felt a price reduction was in order. They never offered. Very poor customer service for the inconvenience and non-working air conditioners. I should have moved hotels after the first night, but I was assured that the problem would be fixed by moving rooms. That did not occur. Breakfast and appetizer dinner were very good. That is why we stayed when we should have left. "
