「Hostess was very accommodating and quickly responded to my requests for info or needs. Beautiful property and cabin. Grandkids had a great time during our short stay in Cuba (was there for a wedding). The washer was not working just prior to our arrival and the host was amazingly accommodating and willing to work with us. Great experience! You will not be disappointed!」

「My wife and I stayed here for our 20th wedding anniversary. It’s was such a relaxing experience. Just the two of us the river and the thunderstorms. Absolutely amazing. The host was very helpful and the place was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend. The only thing missing for us was a hammock lol. One key thing, do your shopping before you get into town, the country mart is the only store and it’s very expensive.」

「The listing said there was WiFi but it never worked for us. I reached out to the owner and my concern was not acknowledged. If I had been traveling while working this would have been terrible, as I have to have WiFi for my remote work. I’m okay if I don’t need it, but if the listing says it’s there and find out it’s not, that bothers me a bit and makes me a little uneasy. We lost power, it came back on pretty quick. The cabin is cute and cozy. The views are incredible!」

「There has been so much attention to detail with this rental, from the well-stocked kitchen with a smores kit to the bathrobes and slides to wear from the house to the hot tub, to the bounty of cut firewood for the firepit. 「This cabin is a wonderful mix of rustic and luxury! Every detail has been considered. Out in the woods but not too far from town. Rustic but comfy beds and special touches. The bathrooms are each unique and charming! The kitchen is fantastic! There are also great outdoor spaces that we didn’t quite have time to enjoy on our short stay. I’d definitely return to this sweet little cabin in the woods! It was perfect for our family of 6, but it would also be wonderful for a couples getaway!」

「The property was great. Access to a nice sized little lake with a canoe, two kayaks, fire pit, and great hiking trails on property. It rained a lot when we were down there which had an effect on the well water so make sure to bring pretty of bottled water to drink just in case.」

「The wife and I have made three trips to the area and have stayed at Gill Ridge. Twice at Koi Pond and once at Ellens cabin. The properties are always clean and stocked with plenty of towels, bedding and kitchen cookware. Lots of firewood for the fire pit and grills for outside cooking. Nothing beats laying in your hot tub aftef dark under the stars! Plenty of places to eat in the area and things to do for all ages. We will be back again for our next weekend get away.」

「This property was exactly what we were looking for. It is peaceful, serene, beautiful. Loved taking the walk daily down the mowed road through the field down to the river with our pups! We also drove down to the river too.The cabin has an old world charm and the essentials you need like pots and pans for cooking as well as some small appliances, fridge and oven. 「The cabin and the grounds were perfect for our annual family Thanksgiving trip. Hands-down, definitely the best stay we've had so far. The cabin, interesting with it's history, has been beautifully and functionally updated. Cooked dinner and two breakfasts on the outdoor Blackstone griddle (nice touch!). The fire pit and s'mores were wonderful. Plenty of room for everyone. And, the property and river were so unique. What a great place. Super hosts (thanks Donna!).」
