"The setting and ambience of Paradise Resort was pretty fabulous but then I am partial to lush greenery, soft emerald green mountains with mists swirling at their peaks and wonderful birdsong. Also a few crazy roosters which added to the character.
The bed was incredibly comfortable and a real sense of privacy in the room / studio enhanced by the balcony overlooking the hills and pool. Pool was fabulous. The reception where you can hang out to the dulcit tones of their five evenings a week Hawaiian singer, has a totally wonderful view of the mountains and skies.
Staff were efficient and very helpful.
The ONLY minus points which can be easily rectified was a bedside unit and light missing from one side of the bed. Also the bathroom desperately needs shelving which could easily be done. Lastly, a few powder creamers would be a boon along with the coffee when you arrive late and tired.
Another point was the parking cost which other than being the only resort we stayed at which charged was hiked up prior to our arrival. It was reduced back when we complained but it it felt a bit out of order.
Otherwise well worth a longer visit than the five nights we had. A fortnight would have been a treat!"
"Very nice hotel, great location. Amenities nearby. Clean room. Great restaurant. The coffee shop and store closed earlier than we would have liked, especially with late flights in and out. The pool area was nice but we noticed a lot of random people (not hotel guests) using the pool making it over crowded & potentially unsafe/secure! With a $45 per night resort fee, I would have thought the pool would be for guests only."
"We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions we had. The hotel’s location was also very convenient, with easy access to a nearby mall, making shopping and dining options readily available. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to others."
"The room was spacious and clean. The shower is a bit small and the lines for the elevators can get pretty long. There are six elevators that operate around 34 floors. "
"If you’re in the rainbow tower the rooms are perfectly clean . Outside the property gets dirty but I did always see staff cleaning inside and out. Forget dinning on location . It was nasty . The chicken was like rubber , steak didn’t taste like steak . Nothing tasted good at any of the places we ate . Oh the line waiting to get to the check in desk . Imagine standing in line to ride a ride at Disney world ! Good luck !"
"Clean space, great location with amenities and the beach in walking distance. Staff was very helpful and the continental breakfast was great with a variety of choices."
