The location is shared with an active farm, and the driveway leading to the cabin is riddled with potholes, some deep enough to damage cars if you are not careful. The cabin has a window, an AC unit, and a portable space heater, but it did not get above 54 degrees inside. 「It was a lovely cottage in a lovely setting and the hosts had decorated for Christmas which made it very warm and cozy. We had most everything we needed and thoroughly enjoyed our time there with walks in the woods and family Christmas fun and games. We would look forward to returning again—maybe in the fall for some lovely fall color.」

「This cabin is perfect for a couple's getaway! There wasnt anything about this listing that wasn't spot-on: the hot tub, the sitting area, the fire pit, and the kitchen were all inviting and clean. The bed was more than comfortable (we like a firm mattress). The pellet stove provided great ambiance. Adam is an excellent host and provides a secluded hideaway when you need to get away from the real world. We can't wait to return!」

「Needed a little get-away not too far from home. This little cottage is perfect in so many ways. It's in a quiet, private neighborhood. Parking is convenient with circular drive. Don't skip the history of the area and home in the welcome notebook. We fell in love with the Crab Orchard Stone on the house.
