The cottage is modern and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. There was lots of space for my husband and I. Having a washer and dryer to use when traveling is so nice.

Crescent City Exploration

Very nice, clean place. Really liked the decor. So easy to find and easy instructions to enter. Comfortable and easy access to grocery store, places to eat, and places to explore.

Immaculate property!

We enjoyed our stay at this home. It was spotless and very nicely decorated and had all the necessities to make our stay feel like home. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was large had great water pressure. We would definitely stay here again when we’re in the area!

Great place to stay in Crescent City. Close to everything. Great bakery (Lillies Little Bakery best cinnamon buns). Clean has everything you need.

Visiting Redwoods? Stay Here!!!!

What an amazing guest house and location to visit Redwoods National Park and Crescent City. The house was very clean and comfortable for our family of four. The home even has beautiful flower gardens to stroll through which was an extra bonus. Host was very prompt and professional throughout the rental process. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Clean, comfortable and quiet

We only stayed one night at Poppies Coastal Cottage and we arrived very late at night but the home was very clean, comfortable and quiet. Everything was very new and modern which is always a nice bonus. It was easy to get to and was the perfect overnight stop to explore the Redwoods the next day.

A Few Nights in My Hometown

This roomy one bedroom house is on a quiet street in a nice neighborhood for this area. It was very clean and extremely comfortable. My husband and I slept well in the King size bed, and even on the sectional in the living room. I would definitely stay again.

Fly Fishing on Smith River

Great location for short drive access to river. Located on a quiet residential street a few miles from downtown. Extremely clean and modern style furnishings. Rain shower and plenty of hot water. Highly recommend

Beautiful property close to the Redwoods

Clean, modern, spacious, and welcoming cottage. It was perfect for 4 adults (mom, dad, grandparents) and a little one. King size bed is a thoughtful choice by the host. The convertible couch in the living room was humongous and really comfortable. Bathroom sliding doors need locks but we managed with knocking before entering. The kitchen was super spacious with a large dining table where everyone could hangout and do puzzles and play card games with the little one. All in all it was the perfect space for us. Strongly recommend for this family size. Proximity to all major attractions such as the Grove of Titans, Trees of Mystery, River beaches, etc. Solid food scene in Crescent City. Cristina’s and Kin Koa’s exceeded our expectations.

Cozy retreat.

My family only stayed in this house for one night and were pleased with how clean, cute and cozy it was. My suggestions to the owner would be to add some actual bedding (sheets, bed pillows, not decorative pillows) for the couch sofa bed and to have more than one fan. My only complaint (this has nothing to do with the owner or this house) would be with the neighbors next door. They had music playing loud outside when we arrived, which wasn't terrible since it was during the afternoon. When we got home from dinner the music was off. Around 11pm they decided to turn the music back on and played it until midnight. We had to close the windows and use the one fan to help with the noise. Overall we had a great experience and enjoyed our stay.

You must stay here! It's just perfect!

This little house is to perfect for words! It is clean as can be, and has amazing aesthetics, decor, furniture, and everything you need for your stay. It even has a fully stocked little coffee bar that has everything you need to make your morning cup...or however many cups you want ;) Check-in and check-out were the easiest we have ever experienced. The location is perfectly placed between the redwoods and downtown Crescent City so it is not too far from either. The cottage was very close to the neighbor's backyard, which you can't see or anything, but we did have some loud music coming from there a couple of times that made it a little challenging to watch TV, but it never went past 10 pm. It didn't bother us much, and we didn't have any kids trying to sleep or anything so we did not even bother the homeowners with it. I would imagine a quick ask to keep it a little quieter would do the trick. Truly, such a great place to stay!

Very nice sands private

As we pulled out of the driveway after packing up, my husband said, “That was a nice VRBO!” And it was. Set back off the road behind another VRBO house by the same owner, it was just right for the two of us. The open kitchen and, family room area offered a lot of space. The L-shaped couch was comfortably set in front of the television, And the bedroom also had a big screen television, both Roku. The kitchen offered all new appliances although we did not cook. My husband enjoyed some coffee this morning from the supplies that were available. The home looks like it had recently been redecorated, and everything was very clean and welcoming. The linens were delightful! The white fluffy towels were very soft, and the VRBO offered bath products as well. I saw a first aid kit that we did not use. They also had a hairdryer and extra bathroom supplies. We used the washer and dryer during our day, and it was clean, and the front loading washer also did not have a smell, which is often found in that type of machine. I appreciate that! The home is in a nicer part of town away from the main road although just about 10 minutes from several restaurants. We enjoyed dinners at Marlo’s and Seaquake. I would highly recommend this VRBO for your stay in Crescent City.

Perfect for Exploring the Redwoods and the Pacific Coast

Great place, clean, and well located. House had LOTS of natural light and all the necessities for a family of four - we cooked breakfast and dinner both days and had a comfortable place to rest.

Exactly as described

We had a great stay at this cute property! It’s a few miles from crescent city but easy to get to/from and close to redwoods parks. Host was amazingly responsive and proactive. Inside is very well done and outside is a beautiful yard. Even outside the tsunami zone as we learned during the recent tsunami warning!
