"The entire staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The food was so enjoyable, tasty and well presented. Our compliments to the chef and kitchen staff. We had our engagement lunch at the Cooden Beach Hotel 52 years ago and were celebrating our 51st wedding Anniversary."

"The hotel is in a nice location but the conditions and services would need to tmprove. There should be air-conditioning and there should be a refrigerator in the room. Dining wise, they could improve efficiency by getting guests to get their own utensils and bringing used plates back to central location which is the practice in many hotels in their restaurants. Breakfast time should be consistent everyday and not change on weekends which cause confusion. Many restaurants provide coffee especially when they are open late for breakfast. "

"We had such a specia stay for our anniversary. We enjoyed the pool, spa (both had lovely treatments) and bike hire. Staff were so friendly and helpful and the hotel had a grand, traditional feel. "
