「The cottage was lovely and clean and had everything we needed and more. Cathy was on hand when we needed here and always happy to help」

「This place was lovely. Clean and bright. Instructions to get in and once inside were very helpful. The only thing that bothered me was the 3 bins of glass bottles, mostly alcohol bottles that were over flowing onto the ground outside the gate, in the parking lot. They were there the day we checked in , already overflowing and only got worse as we stayed for 4 days. They should look into that because otherwise this place was everything we wantes while on our vacation. Lovely!!」

「Beautiful cottage in the heart of Beadnall just round the corner from our favourite pub The Craster Arms. Lovely cosey cottage with fabulous woodburner perfect after a walk on the nearby beach. Beds very comfy, kitchen had everything we needed. Only downside was the shower which had very little power and was therefore disappointing considering everything else in the cottage was quality. Overall a lovely family break」

「Although parking is tricky the facilities at the cottage were fine. It's right opposite two pubs which didn't cause any disruption. On the whole a good place to stay, it's about one minute from the sea.」

「The property was the best we’ve ever stayed at. It was very handy for the town but in a very quiet spot. The owner was very friendly and informative. We had a very relaxing break and would highly recommend. 」

「A well equipped, clean and tidy cottage not far from Melrose Abbey and the shops and restaurants. Tea in the garden house was one of our highlights, and another one was the wood burning stove on chilly evenings. The kitchen has everything one needs for preparing a hearty breakfast or a perfect dinner. Contact with the owner was nice as always. A true "home from home"!」

「Very nice cottage plenty of room for 6 people and close to all local amenities. Beach is about a 15min walk away but not a problem. Harbour is just at the bottom of the road and plenty of benches to sit and relax. My only issue with all properties on this street/road not just this one is parking. You can literally park one car per property and then still have to ask people to move vehicles to get in and out. Other than that loved our stay.」

「Fantastic property with everything you'd need, or thought you didn't need.... great hosts who were eager to make sure we'd settled in and had everything we needed or any help with suggestions for sight seeing (although great information book supplied). We were new to the area but found the location perfect as a base for exploring near and far. over a few days..plenty to do on your doorstep with shops and eateries with-in Melrose if you don't fancy cooking. Will certainly be returning later in...

「We really enjoyed our stay at Grove Cottage. It was a lovely space to stay in and had everything that we needed. The Welcome Pack was fabulous and such a thoughtful gift when we arrived. 」

「We were in town for the Race Across Scotland - crew stayed here throughout the week, and two of us who ran it were here after we finished. Was a close drive to Cocksburnpath, and to other surrounding areas. Great spot for 4 folks, and having laundry was a huge bonus. Lovely property.」

「We try and come to Otterburn once a year as we love the area. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with tableware amd cutlery. The veds were comfy abd the hot tub was amazing. The only thing that frustrated us was the induction hob, we have never used one before so took a lot of getting used to despite reading the instructions several times.will definitely be returning and will have hopefully mastered the use of an induction hob by then!」

「Great central location from which to explore the Borders region from Bamburgh to Melrose ; from the Alnwick Gardens to Edinburgh. After a great day exploring to return to our quiet countryside cottage for a relaxing glass while watching the sunset over the hills as the the horses enjoying a late night snack in the paddock and the swifts and bats doing tricks was wonderful . Enjoyed 7 perfect days. Jan and Phill 」

「Beautiful little cottage with great sea/ harbour views. Solid fuel stove which blasted out plenty of heat, ideal for a winter visit. Fab cliff top walks and plenty choice regarding eating and drinking, either in village or nearby towns. We will return!」
