"We chose Solea because we were visiting relatives that live nearby. We didn’t come for the water park facilities but my children enjoyed the infinity pool and the beach. The breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day. Our room faced the adjacent neighborhood so we were serenaded by bad karaoke in the evening and roosters crowing in the morning. It didn’t bother us. We knew it was all part of the experience."

"It was ok, very mid. If you’re an adult looking for a quiet vacation, hotel is not for you since there are a ton of kids. The room I book was also very average, really just a place to sleep, the safe didn't work, the soap and shampoo aren't even usable. The good thing about this place tho is the food. The breakfast buffet saves it. Also if you're into pools hurray for you. Again, budget friendly and very average. "

"This was just a one night stay at this resort, but I wish we had stayed longer. First off, the staff we encountered from the front desk, to the security officer, to the pool guy - everyone was very friendly and welcoming, even when we literally got the manager out of bed early to check out and obtain a taxi. "The property was very clean and was very large. Great for a larger family. Close to many attractions in and around Cebu. Also close and easy access to the new bridge from the island to Cebu. I would stay at this property again on any return trip to Cebu and would recommend it to my friends and family."
