Such a lovely spot looking out onto Jen’s beautiful garden and just 2 minutes onto the sandy beach .Jen was super helpful and welcoming and the apartment has all you need . Easy reach of coffee spot ! & Supermarket at Coopers and restaurants at Mangonui — our fave was Jessie’s !! We would certainly recommend and love to come back Steve and Linda

Small but well equipped BnB, with beach access, deck to sit on, surrounded by lovely gardens. Everything has been thought of for your stay. Host was lovely.Bring an eye mask if you don't like being woken by the daylight.

The host met us as we arrived and gave us a brief walk-through of the property to make sure we knew how to turn on the TV, the stove, etc. The views were stunning and the garden surrounding the property were just lovely so many different flowers and nicely arranged really fun to walk around. There’s a path to the beach And the beach was just gorgeous. We walked away on the shoreline. Make sure you pay attention to the tide because we ended up with wet shoes. The police was clean and well appointed we had everything we needed.

We had a lovely stay. Clean, no fuss, direct access to the beach, everything needed was supplied, and chocolates on arrival! (Well, we hope those were for us). Thank you Jennifer and Cliff.

It was paradise found

Marvelous setting, beautiful, immaculate gardens, one minute walk to the secluded beach. Wonderful view of the bay and incredible sunsets. The whole experience was beyond our expectations. Jen was a great host, we had everything we needed and more. The shopping was convenient and easy. 3 months was too short a stay, and we will definitely be back to Sails. Thank you so much Jen

A beautiful apartment only minutes from Coopers Beach.

We loved our stay and felt rejuvenated when we left. The apartment exceeded our expectations and location was perfect for everything we wanted to see and do. We appreciated the little touches on our arrival and Jennifer was the perfect host and we hope it won’t be too long before we can return.

Perfect beachside location

The flat has a superb outlook and is very tidily kept. It is located under the existing house but there has complete privacy. It would be brilliant in the summer for easy swims. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Jennifer was welcoming and kind.

A break in paradise

A wonderful 6 days; location perfect (1 minute walk to the walkable and swimmable beach); gorgeous view of Doubtless Bay from the deck. The accommodations are comfortable and the layout carefully thought out. Looking forward to returning much sooner rather than later. The owner was amazing and it was clear that there was a strong commitment to us having the best experience possible.

Great beachfront location

We enjoyed being able to walk out directly onto the beach with lots of shade available from the trees. We were also able to walk along the beach to get our morning coffee & grocery shopping. Highly recommend the quiet beachfront property.

Beautiful place but not as described

We wanted to walk on the beach and soak in the hot tub as we both have injuries. The beach front apartment is approximately 100 meters from the beach down semi steep and slippery bank. And there was no hot tub as advertised. There waa also nowhere outside you could lounge in the sun. Just hard seats no recliner. The place is lovely and certainly clean but not what we expected or wanted.

Well appointed

We - an active elderly couple - had a lovely 3 days in this comfy apartment enjoying walking and climbing hills in the neighbourhood. Jennifer was friendly and helped us out with the touch control hotplate!

Fabulous stay

Fabulous spot + host

If you want a spot right on the beach, this is great, and the listing is accurately represented. I have never been at accommodation that has been so well kitted out - Jennifer has thought of everything and lots of little extras are supplied that you don't usually find (eg paper towels, mossie spray, hose to wash sandy feet off, umbrella, basic first aid kit, torch etc). There was also extensive written information provided in a couple of clear files about the area, where to eat, takeaways, walks etc. The weather was not kind to us but we still swam several time in the sheltered bay. Such a magic spot!

Brilliant location and host
