"The AC was broken. It wouldnt go below 75 even set to 50. It was hot! We were sweating. I called the front desk several times but the phone was broken. I could hear her but she couldnt hear me. So I trudged at midnight to at least get a fan. She had one! The FAN was BROKEN! So I trudged back and tell her and she says she will bring me something to my room number. She never did. Slept with wet towel around my neck and feet or wherever I could cool. Wouldnt recommend this place. "

"The AC did great and the full sized fridge was handy. The bathroom was not clean there was what appeared to be a blood stain on the bathroom floor even. Bed slept wonderful. Def look into baggage carts the one laundry cart for everyone was inconvenient"

"The staff was very nice, but the room was awful. It had a really bad smell and the toilet kept running. When I went and took the top off the tank to try to stop the water from running, I saw a row of some kind of insect cocoons running along the back of the tank. Yuck."

"Linens stained, perhaps soiled (mainly top covers). Place is showing some wear. Sheets a bit rough, but probably provide some exfoliation. Not much available for breakfast, but you are in luck if an oatmeal packet and an apple would do. Parking convenient. Not a place for lite sleepers, overlooks the highway and quite close. Mattress acceptable. Also, if a sign is on the desk saying, “Assisting another guest, back in 10, call —- in an emergency”, call immediately. After a 15 minute wait, called and they were in a back room. Would not stay here again, unless in a crunch. "

" I have been staying at this hotel off and on for a year due to traveling for work. The staff has been consistently the same friendly faces. I also know that they had construction going on over the past few months so I see there are a lot of reviews that seemed unfair to me. The outside is just recently done it looks very nice. I'm not a huge breakfast person but there was options for breakfast each time I was there. Me personally I just wanted some apple juice or coffee. If I find myself in a pinch in Independence Missouri I know the place I will be staying is at quality inn & suites on Noland road. Thank you so much for accommodating all my needs"
