「Nice propertty. Store is nice. Everything was supplied and clean. Location is beautiful and just outside the NE gate to Yellowstone. I booked through expedia, and it was a few months ago, but i don't remember anything about a cleaning fee. I am even OK with the fee if i was aware of it. Only other issue was there was still no cell service and the cabins do not have wifi. Some people prefer this. There is wifi at the store and is free.」

「Cooke City is a fun little town. The Cabin was comfortable for 6 of us, only one bathroom which was a bit of hold up sometimes. Kitchen wasn't super well stocked as far as cooking utensils, but we made it work. Bedrooms and living area was fantastic and the views were awesome. Okay location for Yellowstone, Tower Road was closed so we had to drive further than normal a couple days because of that. 「A great location to access the Beartooth Mountains and surrounding Shoshone National Forest. Loved the yurt, very cozy and comfortable. A great place to return to each day after a beautiful hike to the high mountain lakes on the Beartooth Plateau. Nan and Brian were very friendly and super helpful with information about the area. I highly recommend staying here.」

I would also agree that there was a unique smell. It didn't cause us problems, but those in our group all mentioned it (without reading any reviews of the property). We opened windows for some fresh air and it didn't cause any challenges/problems.」

「Immaculate old log cabin, not big enough for a family but two fit very comfortably. Cozy, warm and private. Well stocked and appointed with microwave, coffee pot, tv, heater, flush toilet, shower, refrigerator and wifi. We loved our stay here and the attendant explained the cabin was over 100 years old.」

We arrived much later than anticipated, but the directions were great, and there was no problem finding the place and getting in. The house is close enough to Yellowstone Park to be convenient, and far enough away from the more crowded areas in town to be relaxing and have our own space. 「The cabin was nice. It has a kitchenette, so preparing meals was convenient. Cooke City is a very small town, with no cell service, and limited eateries and supplies. So we brought all of our food, including meals that we premade, and just heated up. We came to watch the wildlife in the Lamar Valley in Yellowstone National Park, and Cooke City is minutes away from the East end of the park. Which is a big plus. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful, it was wonderful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay...
