Harlyn Bay Padstow, 70 Steps from the Beautiful Stunning Beach, Parking Garden

"Amazing place, we didn't want to leave, and could have easily stayed longer. Amazing location (although we counted slightly more than 70 steps...), parking was easy and communication from the host was probably the best I've ever experienced. Cottage has everything we needed, the treats for the kids on arrival was a lovely touch too. Kids have already asked to return next year."

"The house was amazing , it was clean and tidy on arrival, the welcome pack is a nice qesture.Walking though the door was wow factor , the house is spacious, and the house has everything and theres enough to keep the Adults and Children entertained. The games rooms was good and the hot tub was a perfect , Stunning views of the countryside . The beds comfortable. Good location , A short drive to the beaches and Padstow and not forgetting the short walk to the pub. Would highly recommend this place and would return again"

"Very hot, needed fan on all night as room was sweltering hot, and wasn’t even a particularly hot day. Check-in took half an hour as they wanted to serve all the people at the bar first! But overall service was ok and breakfast very good."

"The Property was accessed by an unfinished road which was a problem for our oldest member who is disabled and could not use her mobility scooter. The bungalow was generally well appointed, convenient for local beaches and amenities. The outdoor heated pool was a godsend which was well used during the July heat wave. The ladies expected a hair dryer which was missing or at least we could’nt find it. The TV & WiFi service was patchy and kept freezing which disappointed our younger members. One serious criticism is that the owners felt it was ok to just show up on three occasions without the courtesy of an introduction. He just walked in whilst we were at the property and again early one morning to access the garage. My family and I thought it was impolite not to at leastknock the door to introduce himself and ask if it was convenient to visit. The departure process was surprisingly intense, strip the beds, put the washing on, put all kitchenware in the dish washer, empty the rubbish bins all before the 9am departure time! Overall a good holiday enjoyed by a family of six which would have been excellent but for the above noted issues."

"An amazing house , in the most idyllic location. Plenty of space and fully equipped . House beginning to need repairs now -obvious damp in twin room and main bathroom with paint flaking off , garden furniture needs an update & the kettle bbq needs replacing as all rusted away underneath . We have had perfect weather and a fabulous break . A for sale sign went up while we were there - but hope new owner still rents it out for the summer"

"The Red Buoy is a unique place, full of character and homely creative touches. During the hot hot weather, the flat itself was thankfully cool (except for the bathroom and kitchen, but that was the sun's fault!) and the covered outdoor space was very welcome. The bed is comfy. It's a stone's throw to the most beautiful beach. I wish we could have stayed longer"

"The house exceeded all our expectations. It was incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, and tastefully decorated throughout. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and had everything we needed.We spent most of our time at the house enjoying the fantastic outdoor space and garden. The kids absolutely loved the hammock, and the outdoor shower was perfect for rinsing off the sand after trips to the beach. There were also lovely spots to sit and enjoy both the morning and evening sunshine.The location is ideal, with both beaches within easy walking distance and the golf course just a short stroll away.Roger was an outstanding host, and communication throughout our stay was excellent.We completely fell in love with this house and would love to return. We had the most wonderful week and created memories that will stay with us for a long time."

"Excellent property for beach lovers. It’s not quiet in the garden if the beach is busy. The little shop next door is very convenient and friendly. We used it on a regular basis. (Pasties , coffee and croissants ). Lovely. Oh. And ice cream. It was clean and well equipped. Thoroughly recommend."
