「This Pig did not disappoint. The approach and front entrance were disappointing and for all the world it looked as if the hotel was closed. The front door area is barren. However once inside it was marvelous and the staff were all happy and terrific. Our Shepherds Hut was divine! An easy walk to the beach and cafe's provided activities without requiring the car.」

The hotel is just a five minute walk across fields from Trevone beach and coast path so ideally located for what we wanted. Padstow is walkable. 「The hotel, staff, restaurant and location are excellent However the rooms facing the lane are extremely noisy... we were woken up at 7.30am by loud truck deliveries and garbage trucks... and late at night, the hotel staff would gather and talk loudly just below the hotel room windows. Also, the hotel has no parking, so you either have to be lucky and get a spot on the street in front of the hotel, or pay to park in the lot up the hill. 「Lantern Cottage was exactly as described. It was very clean and comfortable. The layout and facilities had been very well thought out. The shared courtyard was lovely to sit out in the sun. We were able to store our bikes there too, which we rode on the nearby Camel trail. It was peaceful even though we were almost in the centre of Padstow. There were numerous bars and restaurants nearby all serving delicious food. There is also a Spar shop 1minute walk away handy for last minute supplies....

「We ended up here by accident after being double booked at another (unrelated) hotel. We were made to feel so welcome and looked after that we quickly forgot about the ordeal from the night before ! The room was gorgeous with stunning views. The hotel and spa were clean, staff were friendly, the food was excellent. We are so glad we stumbled upon this hidden gem and can’t wait to return! 」

「Absolutely amazing place to stay for a few nights. The cottage was perfectly sized for our family of 5, loved the out side space and the fabulous view of the beach. We had dinner in the restaurant, and the food was delicious. We will be going back!」

「We had a lovely stay here, the lock wasn’t working from the outside but was fixed within half an hour, brilliant! Beds are comfortable and the sofa. A good size cottage the bathroom was abit tight but there are public showers on site aswell would definitely come back here. There’s a park on site aswell, laundry room a bar and reception are very helpful.
