Our group loves this property! This was our second year here and we're planning to return again next year. We have a group of 8 adults and the house is large enough that we can all have our own space if we want, and then all gather together at the large kitchen table for games and meals. There's a large patio table on the deck and a hot tub that we also enjoy on chilly fall evenings. Everything about the house is pleasant: the decorations are cute and minimal, the appliances are up to date, the kitchen has everything needed for cooking, eating and clean-up and, best of all, there's a book with house instructions that are well-written and complete with photo descriptions. The area is very quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view of the fall colors. We've never used the kayaks or canoe, but all the equipment and life jackets are provided in case you want to.
The only potential issue may be accessibility for people with limited mobility. There's just one step up leading into the front door, or a few steps if you're coming in from the garage. Once you're in the house there are bedrooms, bathrooms, the kitchen and a large living room all on the main floor. The lake access is down a hill and would be difficult for someone with limited mobility, but the lake is visible from the deck through the trees in the fall and winter.
The host is responsive, communicates clearly and is nice to work with. We appreciate being welcome to enjoy the beautiful home and property.
