"We had a really lovely stay in room 19! The highlights for us were definitely the incredibly friendly, helpful staff and the delicious meals we enjoyed in the pub. Plus, the bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, giving us a fantastic night’s sleep every single night. The room itself was very clean, though it is worth noting that the setup is exceptionally basic compared to what we've experienced elsewhere. It’s a very simple space with just one plug socket available (which requires unplugging the kettle or radio to use), and the electric shower has quite low water pressure. That being said, the great hospitality, cleanliness, and comfort of the bed made for a very pleasant stay overall!""

"A really enjoyable stay, beautiful comfortable room, great bathroom & toiletries, breakfast was lovely & dinner in the restaurant was very good but the best thing about our whole stay was the staff, they were all so friendly & welcoming & went above and beyond to make out stay very memorable. The hotel is in a brilliant position 2 mins from the beach & shops all around, they were on site parking was a godsend as parking is in short supply in Lyme, I would definitely stay here again, if I did have a complaint the WiFi was very hit & miss & we could only get bbc on the tv but we were out most evenings so didn’t matter too much."

"We stayed in one of the Lodges. Very clean and well equipped. Plenty of tea and coffee supplies (decent quality not cheap), a great supply of Borders biscuits, and cleaning equipment including tablets for the dishwasher. Only problem was one of the bathrooms didn’t have a lock on the door. Our booking stated check out is 11:00 however the checkout for lodges is 10:00 with no opportunity to request a late checkout. We took a fan with us as wasn’t sure how hot the lodge would be but it was actually very cool once the windows were open. Each room also had fans but we didn’t actually need these in the end despite it being very hot outside. Staff were very polite and friendly. We ate in the bar and couldn’t fault the food. It can get quite noisy if there are big crowds, so if you want a quiet meal I would avoid the bar. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"The staff are friendly, easy to talk to and gave advice on where to eat locally. The room was clean and adequate for our stay, also a bit quirky, the floor definitely had a slope but the building is really old. The breakfast was a good size and cooked freshly. Juice toast and lovely marmalade are also on hand. Parking is fine and the way out is marked, it’s a bit tight but a lot safer than trying to go out directly onto the main road."
