I actually had to check out before midnight and go to the emergency room in Woodland park. We were shocked that Cripple Creek had no grocery store or drugstore or emergency surgery!」
「It is an old hotel, remodeled for comfort while maintaing a turn of the century feel and decor. Bed was comfortable. Loved the natural light, and the tavern.」
「The room was very clean and comfortable. Shops near by was not a big issue. Pet friendly was good. There were a couple of long term folks whose dogs ran free which I thought was against policy but it was what it was. 」

It is off the beaten path so if you love quiet and nature and beauty then this is the place for you. Be sure to leave time to enjoy the experience of being there. You will have regrets if you are just looking for a place to crash for a night. 」
「Loved the scenery around the hotel and easy access to the conference I attended. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was nice and clean. I have only one concern there was no elevator but they gave me a room on the 1st floor and allow for an early check-in with no charge. 」
