"We had a very enjoyable stay at La Joya. Despite the flooding of only a few days before, the property was in an excellent condition and the access roads were fine. Jose and his family were very helpful with the few minor problems that we had and they sorted them immediately. We would definitely look to stay there again if we are coming to the area. "This is a beautiful place in the countryside. We have never relaxed so much. It's a short drive to restaurants, supermarkets and beaches but you do need a car as there isn't really anything within walking distance. Lots of countryside noises which we're used to and the house, garden and pool were spotless! We wish we could have stayed longer it was the peace and quiet that we really needed and we definitely got. "

"The house is spacious and well equipped. There is a large plot around the house. The view on the valley and the town of Competa is very nice. However Competa is too far away for a walk to the village. The last part of the drive is somewhat challenging with a larger car."

"La casa y la ubicación perfecta, la anfitriona muy atenta. Solo por poner algo negativo, aunque ya sabíamos que no tenia aire acondicionado. Al estar esta semana con temperatura de más de 40 grados. Conciliar el sueño no ha sido fácil para los adultos. Para poder repetir sería necesario que por lo menos en las habitaciones tuviera aire acondicionado. "Hemos estado en familia en verano. La casa está de fábula, a pesar de las altas temperaturas, al ser una casa de piedra se estaba fresquito. Por la noche muy relajante el sonido del rio que está al lado. Buscábamos descansar, desconectar y alejarnos del ruido y es justo lo que hemos encontrado. El dueño muy atento y para cualquier cosa nos contestaba al momento. El pueblo genial, y la gente muy amable."
